What does an explicit Deny in an IAM policy do?It overrides any Allow in any policy, so the request is blocked even if another policy grants access.

What is an IAM role's trust policy?A resource-based policy that defines which principals are allowed to assume the role.

What is a permissions boundary?A managed policy that sets the maximum permissions an IAM user or role can receive. It does not grant access by itself.

Can an IAM group be a principal in a resource policy?No. Groups only organize users, and policies attached to a group apply to its member users.
