Why cards made from your own material work better than a generic set

Printable sheets are easy to find, but math flashcards for multiplication and division work best when they match the problems your class is actually using. If you were hoping for a ready-made printable, DeckOwl builds a custom set from your own material instead.

  • Cards built from your own worksheets, slides or notes
  • Photos of pages read with text recognition
  • Spaced repetition schedules the facts you keep missing
  • Study in the browser, then export to Anki or CSV on a paid plan
Example multiplication and division flashcards
What is 7 × 8?56. Remember that 8 × 7 uses the same fact, so one card covers both orders.
What is 54 ÷ 9?6, because 9 × 6 = 54.
Why is 0 ÷ 5 equal to 0?Zero shared into 5 equal groups leaves nothing in each group, and 5 × 0 = 0.
What is 12 × 11?132. Multiply 12 by 10 to get 120, then add 12.
Is division commutative?No. 12 ÷ 3 = 4, but 3 ÷ 12 = 0.25, so changing the order changes the answer.

Built from your material

Cards come from the exact problems and definitions in your own files, not a generic fact list.

Spaced repetition

Facts you miss come back sooner, so multiplication and division facts stick over time.

Photos work too

Snap a page from your workbook and text recognition reads it into cards.

How it works

Upload your notes

Add a PDF, DOCX, PPTX, plain text or a photo of the page.

Review the cards

Flip through the flashcards in the browser and mark what you know.

Study the hard ones

Spaced repetition brings back the facts you keep missing until they are automatic.

Start with the worksheet or slides your teacher shared. Generated cards keep the same number ranges and wording, so practice looks like the test. Division cards can also be paired with their multiplication fact, which helps you see the link between them.

Review in short sessions and let spaced repetition choose what comes up next. Free accounts can study in the browser, and paid plans add exports to PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV.

Frequently asked questions

How many multiplication facts should I practice in one session?

Many students do well with 10 to 20 new facts per session, mixed with review of facts they already know. Short, frequent sessions usually beat one long cram.

What is the fastest way to learn division facts?

Learn each division fact as the reverse of a multiplication fact, so 42 divided by 6 is 7 because 6 times 7 is 42. Practice both directions with the same cards.

Can I export my flashcards to Anki?

Yes, Anki export is a paid feature included with the Plus plan, which costs $39/year or $7.99/month. The free plan lets you study in the browser without exports.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. You can start on the free plan with 3 generations per month and study in the browser. Students get 40% off with a school email.
