Turn your Princeton Review MCAT pages into flashcards
DeckOwl is not affiliated with Princeton Review and does not sell their decks. Upload the MCAT material you already have and get your own flashcards with spaced repetition.
Making your own MCAT flashcards
Princeton Review publishes MCAT prep books and courses, but DeckOwl cannot give you its official mcat flashcards. What it can do is turn pages you already own, or your own class notes, into a deck you control. That keeps the content tied to the review you are doing and avoids guessing at what someone else thinks matters.
- Upload your own PDFs, slides, notes or photos of pages
- Keep cards short: one fact, term or mechanism each
- Review daily and mark the cards you missed so they return sooner
- Add quizzes from the same material to test recall in exam format
Works from your own files
Upload PDFs, PowerPoint slides, DOCX files, plain notes or photos of pages. Photos are read with text recognition.
Spaced repetition built in
Cards you miss come back sooner, and cards you know are spaced further apart, so review time goes to the material you are actually losing.
Quizzes and mind maps too
Turn the same material into multiple choice, true/false or short answer quizzes with explanations, or into a mind map of the topic.
How it works
Upload your MCAT material
Add a PDF, slides, notes or images of pages from the prep material you own or wrote yourself.
Review the generated cards
Read through the flashcards, delete anything off-target, and keep the ones that match your weak areas.
Study with spacing
Work through the deck in your browser each day and let spaced repetition schedule the cards you find hard.
The most useful decks are short and specific. A card that asks for one enzyme, one equation or one mechanism is easier to recall than a card that asks for a whole section, so generate a deck, then trim or split any card that asks more than one thing. Working through a deck by subject, such as biochemistry one week and psychology the next, makes gaps easier to spot.
Spaced repetition does most of the scheduling work once the deck exists. Review a set of cards daily, mark the ones you could not answer, and let the schedule bring them back before you forget them. Pair the flashcards with practice questions from the same material so recall is tested in the format the MCAT uses.

Frequently asked questions
Are these the official Princeton Review MCAT flashcards?
No. DeckOwl is not affiliated with Princeton Review and does not provide their decks. It generates flashcards from material you upload, so you need to own or have rights to the source files.
How many flashcards should I make for MCAT biochemistry?
There is no fixed number, but many students find that a deck of 50 to 100 well-scoped cards per subject area is manageable. Split any card that asks for more than one fact so each one can be recalled on its own.
How should I study MCAT flashcards with spaced repetition?
Review the due cards every day, rate each one honestly, and mark the ones you could not answer. Keep sessions short and consistent, because the spacing only works if you return to the deck regularly.
Can I export my flashcards to Anki or CSV?
Yes, but exports are a paid feature. Anki, CSV, PDF and DOCX export are included in the Plus plan at $39 per year or $7.99 per month. The free plan lets you study in the browser with 3 generations per month.
