Turn your notes into an online quiz for students in minutes
Upload a PDF, slides or photos of textbook pages and get multiple-choice, true/false or short-answer questions, each with an explanation, ready to take in your browser.
How a practice quiz helps you remember more
Most study sessions start with a stack of lecture slides and a chapter that needs to stick, and an online quizzes for students built from that exact material turns passive rereading into active recall. Answering a question forces you to pull the idea out of memory, which is harder and more effective than looking at the page again.
- Multiple-choice, true/false and short-answer questions from the same material
- An explanation attached to every answer, so you learn from mistakes
- Works from PDFs, slides, DOCX files, text notes and photos of pages
- Free plan for getting started, with paid plans for more generations and exports
Questions from your own material
Start from the chapter, lecture deck or handout you already have. The quiz covers what your class actually uses, not generic questions.
Explanations for every answer
Each question shows why the correct answer is right, so a wrong guess becomes a lesson instead of a dead end.
Study at your own pace
Take the quiz in the browser on any device, retry missed questions, and come back later without setting anything up.
How it works
Upload your notes
Add a PDF, DOCX, PPTX, plain text file or a photo of a page. Images are read with text recognition.
Choose the question types
Pick multiple choice, true/false or open questions, then generate the quiz. No credit card is needed to start.
Take the quiz and review
Answer in the browser, read the explanations, and retake the questions you missed until the material sticks.
Quiz formats matter too. Multiple choice trains you to tell close answers apart, true/false checks whether you caught a qualifying word, and short-answer questions show whether you can explain a concept in your own words. Mixing formats covers more of what an exam will ask.
Explanations are where the learning happens after each attempt. Read why the right answer is right and why the tempting distractor is wrong, then retake the missed questions a day or two later to see what you kept.

Frequently asked questions
How many practice questions should a quiz have for a single chapter?
Somewhere between 10 and 20 questions covers most chapters well enough to find your weak spots. Shorter quizzes are easier to repeat, and repeating them is what builds retention.
How often should I retake a quiz to remember the material?
Retake missed questions after a day, then again after about a week, so you practice recalling them just before you would forget. Spacing the attempts out works better than cramming them into one sitting.
Can I export my quiz to share with a teacher or into another tool?
PDF and DOCX export are included in the Plus plan, along with Anki and CSV export. QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML export are available on the Pro plan.
Is there a free plan, and do I need a credit card to try it?
The free plan includes 3 generations per month and studying in the browser, but no exports. No credit card is needed to start, and students get 40% off with a school email.
