Turn your own notes into questions you can export
Upload PDFs, slides or notes and get multiple-choice, true/false or open questions with explanations. Export them to PDF or DOCX on Plus, or to QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML on Pro.
Build your own question set, then export it
Teachers who want blooket export questions usually need the same quiz in a file they can keep, edit or load into another system.
- Multiple-choice, true/false and open questions with explanations
- PDF and DOCX export on Plus, QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML export on Pro
- Start from PDFs, slides, DOCX files, plain notes or photos of pages
- Free plan: 3 generations a month, study in the browser, no exports
Question types that fit your material
Get multiple-choice, true/false and open questions with explanations, all written from the pages you upload.
Files you can actually reuse
Export to PDF or DOCX on Plus, or to QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML on Pro for learning systems that import question banks.
Works from what you already have
Start from PDFs, slides, DOCX files, plain notes or photos of pages, which are read with text recognition.
How it works
Upload your material
Add a PDF, PPTX, DOCX, text file or photo of a page. Scanned pages are read with text recognition.
Choose your question types
Pick multiple-choice, true/false or open questions. Each one comes with an explanation for the answer.
Review and export
Check the wording, then export to PDF or DOCX on Plus, or to QTI 2.1 or Moodle XML on Pro.
DeckOwl does not connect to Blooket, so it cannot pull questions out of a Blooket game. It reads your own PDFs, slides, DOCX files, notes or photos of pages and writes questions with explanations. Exports are paid features: PDF and DOCX on Plus, and QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML on Pro.

Frequently asked questions
Can DeckOwl import questions from Blooket?
No. DeckOwl does not connect to Blooket, so you start from your own PDFs, slides, DOCX files, notes or photos of pages. The questions it generates from that material can then be exported.
What export format should I use for an LMS?
Use Moodle XML for Moodle, and QTI 2.1 for platforms that import QTI question banks. Both exports are included on the Pro plan.
How do I write good multiple-choice questions for a quiz?
Write one clearly correct answer and distractors that reflect common mistakes. Keep the options similar in length and avoid all of the above.
Is exporting included in the free plan?
No. The free plan includes 3 generations a month and browser study without exports, while Plus at $39/year or $7.99/month adds PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV export.
