Turn your notes into a practice quiz with explanations

DeckOwl does not host live Blooket games or give out join codes. It builds a quiz from your own notes so you can study the material on your own.

Why a Blooket game code does not work here

Students who want to join a Blooket quiz usually have a game code from a teacher and want to get into a live round. DeckOwl does not run those games, so it cannot give you a code or a join link. What it can do is turn the content your teacher assigned into a quiz you study alone.

  • Multiple-choice, true/false and short answer questions
  • Explanations for right and wrong answers
  • Mind maps for seeing how topics connect
  • No credit card needed to start on the free plan
Example cell biology quiz questions
Which organelle produces most of the cell's ATP?The mitochondrion, because cellular respiration there converts glucose and oxygen into ATP.
True or false: plant cells have a cell wall made of cellulose.True. The cell wall gives plant cells rigid support and a fixed shape.
What is the main job of the ribosome?Protein synthesis, because it reads mRNA and links amino acids into polypeptide chains.
Why does a red blood cell placed in pure water swell and possibly burst?Water enters by osmosis because the cell's inside has a higher solute concentration than the water, and the cell has no wall to resist the swelling.
Which structure controls what enters and leaves the cell? The cell membrane, a selectively permeable phospholipid bilayer.

Practice questions from your material

Upload a PDF, DOCX, PPTX, plain-text notes or a photo of a page and get multiple-choice, true/false and short answer questions.

Explanations for every answer

Each question comes with an explanation, so a wrong answer teaches you why the right one is correct.

Spaced repetition for flashcards

Flashcards you miss come back on a schedule, so your review time goes to the material you know least well.

How it works

Add your material

Upload notes, slides or a document, or photograph a page of your textbook.

Generate the quiz

Choose the question types you want and get questions with explanations.

Quiz yourself until it sticks

Work through the set, then revisit the questions you missed.

Upload a PDF, DOCX, PPTX, plain-text notes or a photo of a page, and DeckOwl reads the text, including text in photos, to write multiple-choice, true/false and short answer questions. Each question has an explanation, and flashcards use spaced repetition so missed items come back. The free plan includes 3 generations per month and studying in the browser. Plus, at $39 a year or $7.99 a month, removes the generation limit and adds PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV exports. Students get 40% off with a school email.

Teachers who need questions in a learning system can use Pro at $14.99 a month, which adds QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML export. No credit card is needed to start on the free plan.

Frequently asked questions

What if I do not have a code for a Blooket quiz?

Ask your teacher or the person hosting the game for the code or link. DeckOwl cannot provide a join code for a Blooket game.

How should I study cell biology before a quiz?

Start with the terms your notes repeat most, such as organelles and their jobs, then quiz yourself and explain each answer in your own words. Revisit the questions you missed the next day.

Which cell structures are the most important to know?

The nucleus, mitochondria, ribosomes and cell membrane appear in nearly every cell biology course, and plant cells add a cell wall and chloroplasts. Know what each one does and where it appears.

Can I export a DeckOwl quiz to Blooket?

No, Blooket is not an export format. Plus exports to PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV, and Pro adds QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML.
