Turn your class slides and notes into AI quiz questions
Upload a PDF, a slide deck, a DOCX file or photos of your notes. DeckOwl writes multiple-choice, true/false and short answer questions with explanations, so you can test yourself before the exam.
Why quizzes beat rereading your notes
Quizzes work best when they test you on your own material, and an EasyClass-style AI quiz generator can build them from the notes and slides you already have. Answering a question forces recall, which shows you what you actually remember before an exam.
- Questions are generated from the files you upload, not from generic templates.
- Each question includes an explanation so wrong answers teach you something.
- The free plan includes 3 generations per month and browser study with no exports.
- Paid plans add export options for your own review and offline practice.
Three question types
Multiple-choice, true/false and short answer questions, each with an explanation of why the answer is correct.
Built from your material
Questions come from the files you upload, so the quiz matches your course readings and lecture slides.
Study in the browser
Take quizzes on the free plan with 3 generations per month. Paid plans add exports for PDF, DOCX and Anki.
How it works
Upload your material
Add a PDF, DOCX, PPTX, plain text file or a photo of a page. Photos are read with text recognition.
Choose question types
Pick multiple-choice, true/false, short answer or a mix, and how many questions you want.
Take the quiz and review
Answer the questions, read the explanations for anything you missed, and generate a new set when you want more practice.
DeckOwl is not affiliated with EasyClass. It is a separate tool that reads your files and writes questions, explanations and, if you want them, flashcards and mind maps from the same source. You can use it alongside whatever course platform your class uses.
Start with a short quiz on one chapter, check the explanations for every wrong answer, then repeat the questions a day or two later. Mixing question types keeps you from memorizing the wording of a single item.

Frequently asked questions
How many quiz questions should I answer in one study session?
Ten to twenty questions is a good range for most students, because it is enough to find weak spots without leading to fatigue. Review every explanation for the questions you missed before you move on.
Is a quiz better than rereading my notes for exams?
Practice testing usually produces better long-term recall than rereading, because you have to retrieve the answer instead of recognizing it. Rereading still helps as a first pass, but quizzes show you what you can actually produce.
Is DeckOwl the same as EasyClass?
No. DeckOwl is a separate product and is not affiliated with EasyClass. It is an AI study tool that generates quizzes, flashcards and mind maps from files you upload.
Can I export my quizzes to Moodle or QTI?
Moodle XML and QTI 2.1 export are available on the Pro plan at $14.99 per month. PDF and DOCX export are included in the Plus plan at $39 per year or $7.99 per month.
