Can't reach Gimkit support? Quiz yourself from your own notes
DeckOwl is a separate product, not Gimkit, so it can't change your Gimkit account. It creates multiple-choice, true/false and short-answer questions from your PDFs, DOCX files, slides, notes or photos of pages, with an explanation for each answer.
What DeckOwl can and cannot do for Gimkit users
When a Gimkit game won't load or an account question stalls, the fix has to come through Gimkit support channels, since DeckOwl is an independent AI study tool with no link to that platform. What we can help with is the study material itself: if you need a review set for the next session, we can build one from your own notes.
- DeckOwl is not affiliated with Gimkit and cannot change Gimkit account settings.
- For Gimkit account or game problems, use the help options on Gimkit's own website.
- Upload your own PDF, DOCX, PPTX, notes or page photo to get a custom question set.
- The free plan covers 3 generations a month with browser study; exports need a paid plan.
Upload your own material
Add PDF, DOCX, PPTX, plain text or a photo of a page, and the text is read for you.
Mix question types
Get multiple choice, true/false or short-answer questions, each with an explanation of the correct answer.
Study or export
The free plan studies in the browser. Paid plans add PDF, DOCX and Anki export, and Pro adds QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML.
How it works
Upload your notes
Add a PDF, slides or a photo of a handout.
Pick a question type
Choose multiple choice, true/false or short answer for the set.
Review and study
Check the explanations, then drill the questions with spaced repetition.
Upload lecture slides, a chapter PDF or a photo of a handout, and DeckOwl returns questions with explanations you can check before class. The free plan includes 3 generations a month and browser study. Plus, at $39/year or $7.99/month, removes the generation limit and adds PDF, DOCX and Anki export. Pro, at $14.99/month, adds bulk upload, QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML export.
Students with a school email get 40% off, and no credit card is needed to start.

Frequently asked questions
How should I study learning support strategies like scaffolding?
Write the definition in your own words, then describe one classroom example where the support was gradually removed as the learner improved. Quiz yourself on both the term and the example.
How often should I review support-related concepts?
Short, frequent sessions work better than one long cram, so review a small set each day and mix in older questions to strengthen recall.
Can DeckOwl fix a Gimkit account problem?
No. DeckOwl is a separate AI study tool and has no access to Gimkit accounts, so contact Gimkit directly for platform issues.
Does the free plan include exports?
No. The free plan includes 3 generations a month and browser study, while PDF, DOCX and Anki export start with Plus, and QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML require Pro.
