Get AI quizzes from your notes on your Android phone
DeckOwl is not Quizizz and has no Quizizz app. It builds multiple-choice, true/false and open questions with explanations from your own PDFs, slides, notes or photos, then runs in your phone's browser.
What DeckOwl does instead of an app download
Quizizz is a separate product, so DeckOwl can't point you to a Quizizz app download for Android. What it can do is turn your own material into quizzes you take in your phone's browser. Upload a PDF, slide deck, DOCX file, notes or a photo of a page, and it writes questions with explanations for each answer.
- Quiz yourself on lecture slides the same day they are posted.
- Turn a photo of a textbook page into practice questions.
- Check your answers against explanations instead of guessing.
- Save Anki or PDF copies on a paid plan for offline review.
Upload what you already have
Use PDF, DOCX, PPTX, plain-text notes or a photo of a page. Text recognition reads the photo.
Mixed question types
Get multiple-choice, true/false and short-answer questions, each with an explanation for the correct answer.
Study in the browser
The free plan includes 3 generations a month and browser study. Exports to PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV are on paid plans.
How it works
Upload your material
Add a chapter PDF, a slide deck or pasted notes from your phone.
Pick question types
Choose multiple-choice, true/false or open questions and generate the set.
Study or export
Review in the browser, or export on a paid plan to PDF, DOCX or Anki.
Study runs in the browser on Android, so you can review between classes without installing anything. Exports are a paid feature: Plus adds PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV, and Pro adds QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML for teachers who load quizzes into a learning management system.

Frequently asked questions
How many quiz questions should I make from a chapter on cell biology?
Start with 10 to 15 questions per chapter that cover each key term and process once. Add more on the topics you keep missing.
What is the best way to study cell biology with quiz questions?
Answer each question without looking, read the explanation, then retry the missed ones after a day or two. Spaced review works better than one long cram session.
Can DeckOwl give me a Quizizz app for Android?
No. DeckOwl is a separate tool that creates quizzes from your own notes and runs in the browser, and it does not provide the Quizizz app.
Do exports cost extra?
Yes. PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV exports are on Plus, and QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML are on Pro. The free plan includes 3 generations a month with browser study.
