Find SAT practice test locations, then quiz yourself on your notes

DeckOwl does not list test centers or sell printable SAT tests. It builds a practice quiz from the PDFs, slides and notes you already have, so you can drill the material that matters most before test day.

Where to take SAT practice tests, and what to bring

Most students first ask where they can sit an official SAT practice test, and the answer starts with College Board, which runs the SAT and lists the test centers available for each date. Your test center is chosen when you register, and your admission ticket shows the address, so check it early and plan your route. SAT practice test locations are easiest to plan once you know your registration and test date.

  • Confirm your test center on the admission ticket before test day.
  • Check College Board for acceptable photo ID and bring it.
  • Take a timed practice set under test-like conditions, then review every miss.
  • Generate new questions from your own notes so practice does not repeat.
Example SAT test day logistics questions

What document shows your assigned SAT test center?Your admission ticket, which is available in your College Board account before test day and lists the center address.
Where can you find official SAT practice tests? On College Board's official website, which offers full-length practice tests in its Bluebook app and study materials.
What should you do if your test center is far from home?Check your admission ticket early and plan travel time, since the center is assigned when you register.

Quizzes from your material

Upload PDFs, slides, DOCX files, plain notes or photos of pages and get multiple-choice, true/false or short-answer questions with explanations.

Export when you need it

Plus exports to PDF, DOCX and Anki. Pro adds QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML for schools that run their own quizzes.

Free to start

The free plan includes 3 generations per month and studying in the browser. No credit card is needed to begin.

How it works

Upload your practice material

Add a PDF, slide deck, DOCX file, text notes or a photo of a page from your prep book.

Choose question types

Pick multiple-choice, true/false or open questions, then generate a set built from your own content.

Study and review explanations

Work through the quiz, read the explanation for each answer and save missed questions for review.

Practice tests are only useful if you review them carefully. Printable official tests are available from College Board, but DeckOwl works from your own study material: upload your prep book pages, class notes or review slides and it generates questions with explanations for each answer. That lets you practice on the content your test will actually cover.

Use the quiz in short timed sessions, then go back to every question you missed and read why the correct answer is right. Repeat with fresh questions from the same material to see whether your accuracy improves.

Frequently asked questions

Can DeckOwl tell me where the nearest SAT test center is?

No. DeckOwl does not list test centers, so use College Board's registration and test center search to find one near you. Your admission ticket will show the assigned location once you register.

How should I use practice tests when studying for the SAT?

Take a timed practice test under conditions close to the real exam, then review each wrong answer and the reasoning behind the correct choice. Spend your next session on the topics where your misses cluster rather than retaking the same test.

How many generations do I get for free?

The free plan includes 3 generations per month and studying in the browser. Plus and Pro remove that limit, with Plus at $39/year or $7.99/month and Pro at $14.99/month.

Do I have to pay to export my quiz?

Yes. PDF, DOCX and Anki exports are part of the Plus plan, and QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML exports require Pro. Students with a school email get 40% off either plan.
