Turn your SAT prep materials into a practice question bank
Upload your review sheets, PDFs or slides and get multiple-choice, true/false or short answer questions with explanations you can study in the browser.
Why build a SAT question bank from your own material
Many students reach for a ready-made set first, but a generic SAT practice test question bank rarely matches the skills your class or tutor has been drilling. DeckOwl works the other way around: you upload the material you already study from, and the AI writes questions from it.
- Upload review sheets, past worksheets or slides as PDF, DOCX or PPTX
- Get multiple-choice, true/false and short answer questions
- Read an explanation for every answer, right or wrong
- Start free with no credit card, then export on Plus or Pro
Your material, your questions
Upload PDFs, DOCX, PPTX, notes or photos of pages, and questions are written from that content rather than a generic pool.
Explanations for every answer
Each multiple-choice, true/false and short answer question comes with an explanation so you can see why an answer is right or wrong.
Export when you need it
Plus adds PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV export. Pro adds QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML for school learning systems.
How it works
Upload your materials
Add a PDF, DOCX, PPTX, text notes or a photo of a page from your SAT prep.
Choose question types
Pick multiple-choice, true/false or short answer questions for your bank.
Practice and review
Work through the questions in your browser, read each explanation, and return to the ones you missed.
DeckOwl does not supply a printable SAT test. Instead, it generates a custom bank with multiple-choice, true/false or short answer questions, each with an explanation. The free plan gives 3 generations per month and study in the browser, while Plus adds unlimited generations and PDF or DOCX export.
Students with a school email get 40% off, and no credit card is needed to start.

Frequently asked questions
How many SAT practice questions should I do each day?
There is no single right number, but a focused set of 20 to 30 questions, reviewed carefully, usually teaches more than a long set you rush through. Track which question types you miss and spend extra time there.
How should I review missed SAT questions?
Read the explanation, then retry the question a day or two later without looking at the answer. Note the skill it tested, such as reading transitions or solving linear equations, so you can drill that skill next.
Can I export my question bank?
Yes, on paid plans. Plus includes PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV export, and Pro adds QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML for school learning systems.
Does the free plan include exports?
No. The free plan gives 3 generations per month and lets you study in the browser, while exports require Plus or Pro.
