Turn your SAT notes into a practice test with answers
Upload prep PDFs, slides, or photos of workbook pages and get multiple-choice, true/false, or short-answer questions with explanations for each one.
Practice tests you generate from your own material
Most students preparing for the SAT want realistic questions they can work through and check. SAT practice test questions are most useful when they come from the same content your teacher or prep book covers, so DeckOwl builds the set from the notes and PDFs you already have, with an explanation for each answer.
- Multiple-choice, true/false, and short-answer questions from one upload
- Explanations that show the reasoning behind each correct answer
- Spaced-repetition flashcards built from the same source material
- Students get 40% off with a school email address
Questions from your own material
DeckOwl reads PDFs, DOCX, PPTX, plain-text notes, and photos of pages, then writes questions from the content you actually have.
Explanations for every answer
Each question comes with a short explanation, so a wrong answer teaches you why the right one works.
Flashcards and mind maps too
Turn the same material into spaced-repetition flashcards or a mind map when you need to review vocabulary or formulas.
How it works
Upload your prep material
Add a PDF, slide deck, document, or photo of a workbook page.
Choose the question types
Pick multiple-choice, true/false, or short-answer questions and generate the set.
Review, retake, and repeat
Work through the questions, read the explanations, and generate a new set on the topics you missed.
Published practice tests are helpful, but they cannot show you which skills you missed on your last attempt. Upload your reviewed answers or class notes, generate a quiz on the weak topics, and repeat until the same mistakes stop showing up. The free plan gives you 3 generations a month and study in the browser, while PDF and DOCX export are on Plus and QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML export are on Pro.

Frequently asked questions
How many practice tests should I take before the SAT?
There is no single right number, but taking one full timed test early helps you find your weakest sections. After that, spend most of your time reviewing missed questions and retesting those topics.
What should I do after missing a practice question?
Read the explanation, then write down the rule or method you were missing in your own words. Come back to that question type in a few days to check whether you can now solve it without help.
Can I export my practice test to PDF?
Yes, PDF and DOCX export are available on the Plus plan at $99.90 per year or $9.99 per month. QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML export are included on the Pro plan at $14.99 per month.
Is there a free plan, and do I need a credit card?
The free plan includes 3 generations per month and browser study, but it does not include exports. You do not need a credit card to start.
