Why a custom deck beats a generic one

Students who want a free Anki deck generator usually have a stack of lecture slides or chapter PDFs they would rather not copy into cards by hand. A deck built from your own material covers the definitions, formulas and examples your instructor actually tests, not a generic list someone else wrote.

  • Flashcards generated from your own PDFs, slides, notes and photos
  • Spaced repetition scheduling in the browser on the free plan
  • Anki export, PDF, DOCX and CSV export on Plus
  • Students get 40% off with a school email, and no credit card is needed to start
Example probability basics flashcards
What is the probability of an event? The number of favorable outcomes divided by the total number of equally likely outcomes, a value from 0 to 1.
What do mutually exclusive events mean? Two events that cannot both occur, so P(A and B) = 0.
What is the complement rule?P(not A) = 1 - P(A), since an event either happens or it does not.
What does independence mean for events A and B?P(A and B) = P(A) × P(B), because knowing one event occurred does not change the chance of the other.
What is conditional probability P(A given B)?P(A and B) divided by P(B), defined when P(B) is greater than 0.

Spaced repetition built in

Cards are scheduled so you review the ones you are about to forget, not the ones you already know.

Anki export on Plus

Plus exports your deck to Anki, along with PDF, DOCX and CSV. The free plan keeps studying in the browser.

How it works

Upload your source

Add the lecture slides, chapter PDF or notes you need to study.

Generate and review cards

Get flashcards in one pass, then edit or delete any card that does not match your course.

Study or export

Study in the browser on the free plan, or export to Anki with Plus.

The free plan gives you 3 generations a month and lets you study the cards in your browser. If you need the deck in Anki itself, the Anki export is part of Plus, which costs $39 a year or $7.99 a month.

Frequently asked questions

How many flashcards should I make for probability basics?

Aim for one card per definition, rule or formula, which usually means 30 to 60 cards for a first unit. Add cards only for ideas you keep missing, so review time stays manageable.

What should the back of a probability flashcard contain?

Put the answer and the rule that produces it on the back, such as P(not A) = 1 - P(A). A short worked example helps you recognize the same idea in a different problem.

Can I export my free deck to Anki?

Not on the free plan. Anki export is included with Plus, which costs $39 a year or $7.99 a month and also removes the generation limit.

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. You can start on the free plan without a credit card, and students get 40% off Plus with a school email.
