How to make LSAT practice tests from your own material

DeckOwl does not include official LSAT exams, so you will not find a ready-made test here. What it does is turn the logic material you already have into LSAT test-style quizzes: multiple choice, true/false and short answer questions with explanations for each answer.

  • Quizzes built from your own prep notes, not generic questions
  • Explanations for each answer choice so you learn the reasoning
  • Flashcards with spaced repetition for conditional logic and question types
  • Three free generations per month to try it before you upgrade
Example LSAT logical reasoning practice questions
In a Necessary Assumption question, what must be true? The assumption the argument requires for its conclusion to hold. Negating it should weaken or destroy the argument, which is a quick way to test it.
If the conditional If A then B is true, what is its contrapositive? If not B, then not A. A conditional and its contrapositive are logically equivalent, so both are true together.
What is the difference between a necessary and a sufficient condition?A sufficient condition guarantees the outcome, while a necessary condition must be present for the outcome to occur.
What does a Strengthen question ask you to do?Find the answer choice that makes the conclusion more likely to be true. It adds support without needing to prove the conclusion outright.
In a Flaw question, what is a common error in causal reasoning?Assuming correlation proves causation. Two things happening together does not show that one caused the other.

Quizzes with explanations

Multiple choice, true/false and short answer questions, each with an explanation of why the correct answer works.

Flashcards that schedule themselves

Key terms like necessary assumption and contrapositive come back at the intervals your memory needs.

Works from your own material

Start from PDFs, DOCX files, PPTX slides, typed notes or photos of prep book pages read with text recognition.

How it works

Upload your material

Add the prep book pages, class notes or slides you already use for LSAT study.

Generate quizzes and flashcards

DeckOwl builds practice questions and flashcards from the text it reads in your files.

Practice and review

Answer the quiz, read the explanations for every choice, and let spaced repetition bring back the cards you miss.

Logical reasoning and reading comprehension reward repetition. Generate a set from one chapter, take it untimed, then retake the questions you missed until the argument patterns feel automatic. Flashcards handle the terms and rules that need to be recalled quickly.

Export is a paid feature. The free plan lets you study in the browser, and Plus adds PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV export, so you can move cards into the tools you already use.

Frequently asked questions

How do I practice LSAT logical reasoning questions effectively?

Work through questions untimed first so you can learn the argument structure, then time full sections and review every wrong answer. Keep a short list of the question types you miss most and drill those.

What should I memorize for LSAT conditional reasoning?

Learn to rewrite if-then statements, their contrapositives, and the difference between necessary and sufficient conditions. Practicing these until they are automatic makes the stimulus easier to parse under time pressure.

Does DeckOwl include official LSAT practice tests?

No. DeckOwl generates quizzes and flashcards from the material you upload, such as prep book pages, class notes or slides. Make sure you have the right to use any copyrighted material you upload.

Can I export LSAT quizzes or flashcards?

Exports are on paid plans. Plus includes PDF, DOCX, Anki and CSV export, while the free plan lets you study in the browser without exports.
