What AnkiWeb upload actually involves

Your decks reach AnkiWeb through the Anki desktop app's sync, not through DeckOwl. If you need to upload an Anki deck to AnkiWeb, sign in to your AnkiWeb account inside Anki and use the Sync button.

AnkiWeb is Anki's free cloud sync service, and the upload is handled by the Anki desktop or mobile app.
Anki imports .apkg deck packages and .colpkg collection backups, so check the file type before importing.
Keep one AnkiWeb account per collection to avoid conflicts when syncing from several devices.
Generate new cards from your own notes when you have no existing deck to bring over.
