Turn your notes into quiz questions with AI
Upload a PDF, slides or class notes and get multiple-choice, true/false or short answer questions, each with an explanation you can check against your material.
What makes a good quiz question
Good quiz questions test one idea at a time and have a single clear correct answer. A question that asks about a whole chapter at once is hard to score fairly, while one that asks for a specific fact, like the number of bones in an adult skeleton, shows exactly what you know.
- Ask about one fact or relationship per question.
- Make wrong answers plausible but clearly incorrect on review.
- Check that the explanation cites the material, not general knowledge.
- Mix question types so recall and reasoning both get tested.
Three question types
Multiple-choice, true/false and short answer questions, so you can test recall and understanding in the same session.
Explanations included
Every question comes with a short explanation of why the correct answer is right, so wrong answers become study moments.
Export when you need it
Study in the browser on the free plan. Paid plans export to PDF and DOCX, and Pro adds QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML for course platforms.
How it works
Upload your material
Add a PDF, DOCX, PPTX, plain text notes, or a photo of a page. Photos are read with text recognition.
Choose the question type
Pick multiple-choice, true/false or short answer, or mix them to match how your course tests you.
Answer and review
Work through the set, read the explanations for anything you missed, and regenerate from the same notes when you need more practice.
Distractors matter in multiple-choice items. The wrong options should be plausible answers a student could confuse with the right one, such as the femur and the tibia when asked about the longest bone. Avoid options like "all of the above" unless the material really supports it.
True/false questions work best when they target a common misconception, and short answer questions reward precise terms. Writing a few of each from your own notes is one of the fastest ways to find the gaps in your understanding.

Frequently asked questions
How many quiz questions should I write for the skeletal system?
Ten to fifteen questions covering the major bone groups, joints and their functions is enough for a typical unit test. Focus on the bones and joints your instructor emphasized.
What is the difference between a true/false and a multiple-choice quiz question?
A true/false question checks whether a single statement is correct, which is quick but easy to guess. A multiple-choice question offers several options, so it tests whether you can pick the right answer among close alternatives.
Can I export my quiz questions?
Yes. PDF and DOCX export are included in the Plus plan at $39/year or $7.99/month. QTI 2.1 and Moodle XML export are available on the Pro plan at $14.99/month.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. The free plan includes 3 generations per month and studying in the browser, and you can start without a credit card. Students can get 40% off with a school email.
