How to hide quiz results in Canvas

Teachers who need to hide Canvas quiz results from students usually want two things: students should not see the answer key while the quiz is still in use, and scores should not appear until grading is finished. Both are handled in the quiz options, not in the question bank itself.

Check the quiz options page before you publish, not after students start.
Avoid showing correct answers until everyone has finished the quiz.
Use a question pool or randomized questions if you reuse a quiz across sections.
Keep a copy of your answer key outside the LMS so you can review results later.
